What’s Your Country Comfort Song?

These are weird times that we're living in, and now more than ever, music has the unique ability to provide an escape.

Country music is unique from other genres, in that it isn't afraid to talk about real issues and feelings that we all experience---both good and bad. There's a sense of community that comes from hearing a song that you relate to on a personal level. It brings you comfort.

One of my favorites comes from Craig Morgan. "What I Love About Sunday" takes me back to Sundays growing up, when we'd go to church and enjoy a half day full of fellowship, worship and music; followed by a lazy afternoon of naps and good food. Whenever I hear that song, it's always a welcome escape to simpler times.
