Fallon, Kimmel, And More Do Monologues At Home While Self-Quarantining
Although television shows and movies are getting canceled amidst the coronavirus pandemic, late-night hosts are still doing their best to keep the masses entertained. Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien are doing so by providing monologues at home, while they are self-quarantining.
“Welcome to The Tonight Show, I’m so excited to be doing the show from my panic room, I mean, living room!” Jimmy Fallon explained. He also added, “Of course, there’s no audience, well there is an audience — my wife — but she doesn’t really laugh at everything that I say.” He proceeded to do the show with his daughter, dog, and wife, who was filming his performance. He also explained that he plans on doing this every night, and he plans on bringing awareness to a different charity every night.
While doing his monologue, Jimmy Kimmel explained, “My blood type right now is Disney Positive, or Disney Plus, whatever they call it. We’ve watched Frozen 2 more times than the animators who drew it have watched Frozen 2. I’m actually hiding in my office right now from my children.”
