Carly Pearce On Tiger King: ‘It’s Too Much For Me’

Carly Pearce has been spending her quarantine time at home with husband Michael Ray, and like many of us, she’s watching Tiger King On Netflix.

Carly told us, “Now, our current obsession together is Tiger King. I don’t know how to even begin to explain what I feel about that. It is out of control. If none of you have watched it, you have to watch it. Michael and I aren’t finished with it but there’s a few parts in it that like, I can’t physically watch.”

She adds, “It’s too much for me. What a weird group of people in society that you didn’t even know was real. I mean, I just can’t believe it.”

Fun side note: Pearce is known for her love of wearing leopard-skin prints and often fans dress in leopard skin at her concerts to show support for her love of the pattern and wild cats.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
