Gabby Barrett Opens Up About Sophomore Album, ‘Chapter & Verse’
We are counting down the days until the release of Gabby Barrett‘s sophomore album, Chapter & Verse. The country singer’s new project is due out in early 2024 and we could not be more excited for her.

“My first album came out during the big year of COVID during 2020, and so this will be released early February 2, 2024. Yeah, called Chapter & Verse. And we’ve got some awesome collabs on it with Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Phil Wickham, and [some] Christian artists, and I’m co-producing it, so really leaning into it, making sure that it’s the best it can be,” Barrett told Kurkjian.
The singer-songwriter joined us backstage at the CMA Awards earlier this week, and our host Jeff Kurkjian even had the opportunity to pitch her an alternate chorus to one of her hits. He took it back to the fan-favorite track “Good Ones,” featured on Barrett’s debut album, Goldmine.

Today (November 10), Barrett released a third track to be featured on her upcoming album titled “Growin’ Up Raising You.”
“This song was specifically written about my firstborn daughter, Baylah. I’ve learned so much over the past few years watching my babies grow & I wouldn’t have it any other way. ‘Growin’ Up Raising You’ is OUT NOW,” Barrett posted on Instagram.
