South Carolina Vs LSU And More College Football And NFL Picks For This Weekend
South Carolina Vs LSU is one of the big games in the SEC this weekend. It’s so big that ESPN College Gameday is traveling to Columbia for the first time in ten years. I’ll pick the winner of that game, plus five more college and NFL games happening this weekend. I’ll be honest, I really need a bounce-back weekend as far as picks go. I went 2-3 week one, and 3-3 last week. So far this season, I have a losing record. That has never happened since I started doing these picks. Let’s bounce back this weekend. Here are my picks.
College Football Picks
We’ll start with South Carolina Vs LSU, this game is on Saturday at noon on ABC, and LSU is favored by 6.5 points. South Carolina is 2-0 this season, however, they haven’t played a ranked team yet. They will this weekend, LSU is ranked number 16. I think it’s great that College GameDay is coming to Columbia, and I think Carolina really wants to show the world something. They’re 2-0, they’re at home, they’re getting attention on a national stage. I might regret this, but I’m taking South Carolina in the upset! Give me the Gamecocks by 3 or less.
Next, let’s go with 4 Alabama @ Wisconsin. This game is set for Saturday at Noon on FOX and Alabama is favored by 16 points. It’s another Big Ten vs SEC matchup. In my opinion, those are the two most powerful conferences in college football. While Nick Saban is gone, and while they lost several star players to the NFL, Bama is still Bama, and I think they get it done this weekend. I’ll take the Tide by 10.
To wrap up my college picks, let’s go with 1 Georgia @ Kentucky. This game is set for Saturday night on ABC and Georgia is favored by 22 points. I’ll make this one simple. Georgia wins…BIG! I’ll take the Dawgs by at least two touchdowns.
NFL Football Picks
Now, let’s move on to the NFL.
First, let’s go with the San Francisco 49ers @ The Minnesota Vikings. This game is Sunday at 1 pm on CBS and the 49ers are favored by 5 points. Even without their star running back, Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco still looked pretty good in their first game this past Monday night. I’ll take the 49ers by 6 this week.
Next, let’s go with The New Orleans Saints @ The Dallas Cowboys. This game will be Sunday at 1 pm on FOX and Dallas is favored by 6 points. Both of these teams put up huge scores last weekend. Dallas blew out Cleveland 33-17, and New Orleans blew out Carolina 47-10. I think this has the potential to be a high-scoring game, I think it could be a back-and-forth shootout. However, I think Dallas has something to prove this year, and I think they get it done in a close one at home. Give me The Cowboys by 3.
And finally, let’s go with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ the Detroit Lions. This game is Sunday at 1 pm on FOX and Detroit is favored by 7.5 points. Both teams won last week, and I think Detroit will keep doing it. Give me the Lions by a touchdown.
