Thomas Rhett: Are More Kids In His Future?
Thomas Rhett has often said he and his wife Lauren want lots of kids. They already have four daughters. So, does that mean Thomas and Lauren are done growing their family, or could more kids be in their future plans?
Thomas recently told us, “I think we go back and forth because I’ve heard a lot of people older than me say so many times like, ‘I wish I’d had more kids.’ Or you never hear somebody in their sixties be like, ‘I wish I’d had less kids.’ No one ever says that.”
He continued, “And so, I think for me and Lauren, we’re trying to figure out, although it would be hard now to add another one or two more or whatever, but I know that time will go by so fast and at some point there could be five or six children sitting at our Thanksgiving table. So, it’s not out of the question. I think we’re tryin’ to figure out when, and do we want to try biological, do we wanna adopt again? I think those are questions that we’re kinda dealing with.”

Christmas is Rhett and his wife Lauren’s favorite holiday, and even though it would be a hectic time at their house if they just celebrated with their family of six, if you ever see their social media around Christmastime, then you know the celebration is way bigger and more chaotic than that.
Thomas told us, “It’s insane. I mean, it genuinely is. And the more that our siblings have kids too, … We have four, Lauren’s sister has two, my sister just had her second, my dad has a son. There’s like 12 kids at my house, including 17 adults. So, what we try to do, is Lauren loves for everybody to spend the night in the same place. And I think our family’s like, ‘Why do we have to spend the night?’ Cause Lauren wants to watch Christmas movies until 12 o’clock at night, so we can all do Santa Claus together, and the kids wake up and do the thing.”
He added, “We have about 20-something people spend the night at our house. People are sleeping on the floor, air mattresses, the whole nine. Everybody’s just kind of like doing the Christmas morning all together, and opening presents takes us an eternity.”
