Today is Jason Aldean’s birthday, so I thought it would be a great time to share some of my memories with Jason Aldean. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to spend some time with Jason Aldean over the years. The first time was back in 2006 at the Kicks99 Guitar Pull. I’ll never forget standing out back of the Bell Auditorium talking about Georgia football with Jason.
Over the years Jason has played here in Kicks Country a bunch. He headlined A Day In The Country back in the day. Jason also headlined two tours at The James Brown Arena. One of those tours was with Luke Bryan. Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan together on the same show on a Saturday night at the James Brown Arena, I’ll never forget that show!
I was also lucky enough to have seen Jason headline the first ever concert at Sanford Stadium in Athens GA. That was a crazy fun time! A few years ago, I was in Las Vegas doing interviews for the ACMs and got to talk to Jason there as well. We talked about how he got Thomas Rhett hammered for his birthday the night before.
He’s always been a super good guy to us, and he puts on a killer show! If you ever get the chance to see Jason live, don’t pass it up.
