Getting your country music career to the point where you get to number one song after number song is not an easy task

On August 11, 2001, Blake Shelton would get his very first number one song with, “Austin”.

This was Blake’s very first song on country radio and little did we know that man with the Mullet would go on to do what he’s done in country music!

Austin spent 5 weeks on top of the country music charts in 2001.

Since then Blake has gone on to have 28 number one songs. Not bad right

Let’s look at some of Blakes Early hits, including Austin!

  • Blakes First Number One Song, Austin

  • We All Know Ol' Red

  • The Baby-Blakes Second #1 Song
