So what are my favorite Country Albums of 2023 so far? I'll be glad to tell you. One thing I don't have to tell you is the fact that there has been some great music released so far this year. However, there have been some albums that really stand out to me. There are some that I haven't been able to stop listening to.

I'm sure that y'all have a favorite of the year so far too. Will our lists match up? maybe so. So how did I come up with this list? Some of the factors I took into consideration were how often I listen to the whole album. Have I gotten tired of it? Are all of the songs good? Do the songs sound different? Did I buy the whole album, or just stream it? All of these questions helped me come up with this list.

There are a few albums that I've liked this year that just didn't quite make the list, but they're still really good. These are a few honorable mentions.

  • Jelly Roll "Whitsitt Chapel"
  • Bailey Zimmerman "Religiously: The Album"
  • Jordan Davis "Bluebird Days"
  • Chris Janson "The Outlaw Side Of Me"
  • Justin Moore "Stray Dogs"

Y'all should definitely check out those albums, if you haven't already. The guys over at Whiskey Riff did a list of the best albums of the year so far as well. You can check out their list here.

These are my favorite Country Albums of 2023 so far. They are in no particular order.

Morgan Wallen "One Thing At A Time"

Just like a bunch of y'all out there, I haven't been able to stop listening to Morgan's new 36 song album since it came out back on March 3rd of this year. It's just so dang good! Some of my favorite songs on the album are "Man Made A Bar" which is a song Morgan did with Eric Church. I also like "98 Braves", "Devil Don't Know" and "Whiskey Friends"

HARDY "the mockingbird & THE CROW"

This album came out back in January and I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out. Its half country and half rock, but its all awesome! I grew up loving country and rock music so this is the perfect blend. Some of my favorite songs on the album are "red" which is a song with Morgan Wallen. I also like "drink one for me" "the mockingbird & THE CROW" and "SOLD OUT"

Luke Combs "Gettin' Old"

March was a great month! We got new albums from Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. This album was the follow up to his "Growin' Up" album that came out last year. I've been a Luke Combs fan for years. Just like every Luke Combs album there isn't a bad song on this one. Some of my favorites are "Growin' Up And Gettin' Old". "Hannah Ford Road". "The Beer, The Band and The Barstool" and "See Me Now".

Parker McCollum "Never Enough"

This one came out in May and let me tell you it is awesome! If you haven't listened to it yet, you've got to check it out! Its got a classic sound, but done in a modern way. Every song is great. Some of my favorites are "Hurricane", "Things I Never Told You" "Lessons From An Old Man" and "Tails I Lose".
