The 2023 Kicks99 Guitar Pull is now just a few days away. Of course, we know that we’re going to hear a bunch of songs Tuesday night. Each artist typically does 4 songs, and then a bonus song, which is usually a cover song. I was thinking about it, and I came up with a list of songs that I hope the artists do at the James Brown Arena this coming Tuesday.

Lady A, Jake Owen, Scotty McCreery, Brett Young, Megan Moroney, and Corey Kent will all take the stage six days from now. Of course, Megan and Corey are still pretty new on the country scene, but they each have a number one hit. Megan with “Tennessee Orange” and Corey with “Wild As Her”. Yes, I’m excited to hear those songs, but there are some others I hope they play too.

Some of these songs will be ones that you’re familiar with, and some will be a little newer. All of them will go over well on Tuesday night I think. The problem Lady A, Jake, Scotty, and Brett will face is going to be “Which of my multiple hit songs am I going to sing?” That’s a good problem to have.

I think that we’re all in for a great show in just a few days. All of our friends out there in Kicks Country are going to be raving about this show after it’s over.

These are some of the songs that I hope we hear this coming Tuesday night at the James Brown Arena.

• "I'm Not Pretty" Megan Moroney

  Of course I want to hear Megan’s number one hit “Tennessee Orange”, but I really like her follow up single as well. It’s such a fun song.

• Brett Young "Don't Take The Girl"

  Yeah, I want to hear all of Brett’s big hits, but when it comes to the bonus round when the artists do a cover song, I hope this is the one Brett sings. He did a great job covering Tim McGraw on this one.

• Scotty McCreery "Cab In A Solo"

  This is Scotty’s newest single, and I love it! It gives off those throwback 90s country vibes. I’m pretty confident we’ll hear this one Tuesday night.

• Jake Owen "The One That Got Away"

  This has always been one of my favorite Jake Owen songs, and if he does it at Guitar Pull this year, y’all will definitely see me singing along with a drink in my hand!

• Lady A "Love You Back"

  This is Lady A’s newest single, and I love it! I think they really got back to their roots on their new music. I heard this song for the first time a few months back, and I loved it then, I still love it now, and I hope we hear it Tuesday night.

• Corey Kent "Wild As Her"

  I think this one is a given. This was Corey’s first number one hit, I know he’ll do it, and I can’t wait to hear all of the James Brown Arena singing along!
