In a show that lasted more than three hours, Taylor Swift opened her “Eras Tour” in Glendale, Arizona, over the weekend (3/17). She touched on and sang many of the hits that made her a country star. Taylor arrived on the country music scene with her debut album in 2006 at the tender age of seventeen. Her rise to superstardom in country music was quick, and soon at CMA Fest, everyone was seeing young girls in sundresses and cowboy boots just like Swift wore in the first few years. Her success was like no other country artist before her, and with her album 1989, she crossed into the world of pop, where she remains today as one of the biggest recording artists and touring acts in music history.

As we celebrate all things Taylor this spring as her “Eras Tour” continues to set records in stadiums all over the country, we look at what we believe are the five biggest moments of her career in country music.
