Reba Has A Message For All You Fans Out There
The safety of Reba’s fans is her utmost priority, that’s why the country star recently took to social media to share an important message with fans.
In a video uploaded to her Twitter account, Reba wanted to let fans know that there are people online pretending to be her.
Her manager asked that she remind folks that the only legit communication online from Reba is by way of her official social media accounts.
Those all have a blue check mark next to her name.
It’s important to remember, if you get a message from someone pretending to be a country star, one of the biggest red flags is if they ask for money, your phone number, address, or any other information.
If you do receive this type of message, it is imperative that you report the imposter on social media.
Reba is one of several country artists who have issued a warning about imposters recently, as Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Chris Young and more have also heard from fans about these fake accounts.
A fairly new website called Social Media Safety aims at helping to educate people about imposters and how to report them on various social media accounts. Learn more by clicking here.
This is my only official Twitter account. If you get a message from anyone else, it is a fake account pretending to be me and it’s very important that you report the account. To learn how to report fake accounts, visit https://t.co/q8i35C0Fj4. pic.twitter.com/MZVlMh9KAp
