JUST WOW: Maren Morris’ Girl Group Performs With Jimmy Fallon
In case you haven’t heard, Maren Morris has taken a page from Miranda Lambert & The Pistol Annies and formed a country girl group of her own, called The Highwomen. It’s made up of Maren, along with Brandi Carlisle, Natalie Hemby & Amanda Shires.
The group were recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and I WAS NOT READY FOR HOW AMAZING THIS WOULD BE. Jimmy, a talented musician in his own right, joined the Highwomen for a cover–no, not just a cover–I’m going to call it what it is: the best cover ever of the Fleetwood Mac classic, “The Chain.”
