Ryan Reynolds Shares Recipe For Father’s Day Cocktail Called ‘The Vasectomy’
Ryan Reynolds, a father of three, has gifted all the fathers in the world with a new cocktail just in time for Father’s Day. It’s called “The Vasectomy,” because, of course, it is. (Or as Reynolds sarcastically explains, “For no f—ing reason at all.”)
Reynolds shared the video below to his YouTube channel showing how to make “The Vasectomy,” which he calls “as refreshing as fatherhood,” while using his trademark wry delivery.
The actor begins the drink by filling a tall glass with ice, because “children fill our lives with so much joy.” Next, he adds 1 ounce of cranberry juice (“Sweet: just like their little smiles.”) After that, he add 3 ounces of tonic “so bubbly, just like I feel every day I wake up after a long, full night’s sleep.” Next, add a dash of lemon juice, to which Reynolds adds, “Fresh if you have a few minutes to squeeze one or store-bought if the little ones have you running around a bit today. The little scamps.” Lastly, he adds 1 1/2 ounces of Aviation Gin, stirs and adds a lemon garnish.
The video is one of many Reynolds, who’s a co-owner of Aviation Gin, has done for spirit brand. He’s playfully quoted on the website saying ,”I’ve tried every gin on the planet and Aviation is, hands down, the best. Also, I don’t recommend trying every gin on the planet. Stick with this one.”
