Jimmie Allen Makes Strange Announcement Amid Sexual Assault Allegations
Jimmie Allen made a strange announcement after being in the headlines lately for being accused of sexual assault by two different women. In May, the first sexual assault charge was filed. Allen denied any wrongdoing telling Variety the following statement.
“It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues, and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever. I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship — one that lasted for nearly two years. During that time, she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely.”
A former manager and another woman, known as “Jane Doe 2,” accused Allen of filming her without her consent during a sexual encounter.
Earlier in 2023, Allen and his wife, Alexis Gale, not only announced that they are separating, but also that they are expecting their second child together. At this point, the sexual assault allegations had not been made public.
Jimmie Allen’s Strange Announcement
Amid all of this, Jimmie Allen took to social media on July 27 to announce a tour. Not a music tour– as it was announced on June 9th that Allen’s label, BBR Music Group, dropped him from their list of artists. He is going on a three-date comedy tour.

“ALL shows are invite only” as it reads in the caption of the post. The three-night engagement was met with excitement but also questions by quite a few fans in the comments section.
One user wrote “very strange choice of comeback” which was liked by over 150 Instagram users. Another questioned, “Now is this post a joke? I’m honestly asking.” Another said, “I didn’t have this on my bingo card.” But a number of fans are excited, with one saying, “If your as good at comedy as you are at singing then that will be an awesome show!!”
