A new song by Zach Bryan is on the playlist this week. I’ve had this one stuck in my head for a while now, and I hope y’all like it as much as I do. Zach has become one of the most popular artists in all of music. His tour dates are selling out at the drop of a hat, and his songs are streaming like crazy. There is a funny story behind how I discovered this week’s song.
Matthew McConaughey Helped Me Find This Song
I know what you’re probably asking. Dub, how did Matthew McConaughey help you find this song? I was on Instagram and I saw that Matthew and Zach were filming something together. Then I realized it was a video for this song. So I went and searched the song, and loved it immediately! This song was featured on Zach’s “Boys Of Faith” EP that came out last year.
One of the things that I love about Zach is the fact that he’ll surprise you with new music. Sometimes you know he’s dropping a new album, and other times he’ll be like “Boom! New album out now, go check it out”. If there’s one thing I love, it’s surprise new music, and Zach gives us that quite frequently.
Zach’s Info
I’ve featured Zach Bryan on the playlist before, but I don’t know if I’ve really told you much about him. Some people know his back story, and others don’t. Zach is from Oklahoma and was an active duty member of the US Navy. While he was in the Navy he started uploading his music on YouTube, and the rest is history.
Now he’s one of the most popular artists in music, not just country, but all genres.

5 Zach Bryan Songs You Should Know
Zach Bryan made national headlines last week (9/7) when he was arrested in his home state of Oklahoma. His arrest came after he got out of his truck and confronted an officer who had pulled his bodyguard over for speeding. After the arrest, Zach apologized to his fans, saying that he was in the wrong.
It was also last week when his newly released duet with Kacey Musgraves topped the Billboard Hot 100 song chart. It was his first time topping the chart as well as Musgraves’.
Bryan has been making significant strides in country music since his “Something In The Orange” song became a big hit; in May, he won an Academy of Country Music award for Best New Male Artist, and he was nominated for the New Artist award at the CMA awards in November.
Zach recently released a new album, and according to his social media at the time, he has “no grand explanation” for the 17 songs on the project. In a lengthy post on Instagram (8/25), he said, “I don’t have a bulls— rollout plan to stuff it in front of as many people as I can.” He added in the frank post that he would be “grateful” to anyone who listened to it.
The self-described “kid from Oklahoma” thanked people who have “kept the course” with him in the last few years. After saying that the music business has both good and bad, he said the new album is “All Me” at twenty-seven years old. He closed by telling fans he is at a “loss for words” at what a “blessing this life is.”
Many fans responded to his post, including one who wrote, “Amazing album.” Another fan commented, “The man of the hour is too sweet to be sour.” One more of his 2.5 million Instagram followers said, “Such a humble man. True idol for me and all the young men and women out there.”
