Hardy And Nickelback Team Up For ‘CMT Crossroads’
Country rocker Hardy has teamed up with Nickelback for an unforgettable episode of CMT Crossroads.
Hardy and Nickelback collaborated on some of their biggest hits including Nickelback’s “Save Me” and “Animals” as well as Hardy’s “Truck Bed” and “Give Heaven Some Hell.” Plus, you’ll see them perform a mash-up of Hardy and Nickelback’s respective “Rockstar” singles.

Fan club members, Hardy’s Mother, his wife Caleigh, Glen “Glenny Balls” Medoro of Barstool Sports, among others were all in attendance the night of the show. Mrs. Hardy shared a few backstage moments on her Instagram later that night alongside Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger.
“It’s fun. I love those guys. They’ve been super supportive. Chad’s been super supportive. It’s been crazy to get to know them and how big of a fan I was back in the day. To get up there and sing their songs with them and have them sing mine, it’s a time,” Hardy told Kelly Ford on Backstage Country.
As someone who attended the taping live in Nashville, I’d have to say it was one of my favorite events to date. The energy on stage from both Hardy and Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake, and Daniel Adair of Nickelback was electric. It’s an episode that fans do not want to miss.
Most recently, Nickelback posted a photo on their social media accounts showing Kroeger side by side with Hardy and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. The acclaimed rockers captioned the post, “Secretly plotting a future super bowl half time show.”
Hardy is fresh off the release of his new single, “ROCKSTAR,” which he says is his “REDNECKER for rock n roll” and is the first song that he’s released to date that “doesn’t take itself seriously.” The song follows his 2023 album The Mockingbird & The Crow, which contains a mix of country and rock music.
The singer-songwriter will hit the road in May for his headlining Quit!!! Tour with special guests Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley, and Stephen Wilson Jr. Hardy will also perform at some of the biggest festivals across the country this summer, including Watershed, Faster Horses, Country Thunder, and more.
CMT Crossroads featuring Hardy and Nickelback will air on Saturday, April 6 at 8 pm ET on CMT. It is a part of CMT’s weekend lineup ahead of the 2024 CMT Awards that is scheduled to air the following day, Sunday, April 7, at 7 pm ET on CBS.
