Kenny Chesney's new album is coming out this week. This Friday to be exact. The album is called "Born" and it will be Kenny's first new album in about four years. His latest single "Take Her Home" came out a few months ago, and a few other songs have come out leading up to the album release date. However, last Friday one came out that stopped me in my tracks. That's the song I'm featuring on Dub's playlist this week.

Finally! New Kenny Music

Like I said, it's been about four years since the last time we've gotten new music from Kenny Chesney. His last album "Here And Now" came out in 2020. So I'm really excited to hear this full new album. Kenny has released a few songs over the past several weeks. Songs called "Just To Say We Did", "Thinkin' 'Bout", "Guilty Pleasure" and the song that I'm featuring this week.

One of the things I think is cool about Kenny Chesney's new album is the fact that it will be 15 songs. That's a little different for him. Usually his albums are around 11 songs, maybe 12 songs max. So I feel like we're getting a little something extra on "Born".

The song that I'm featuring on the playlist this week made me just go "Wow" the first time I heard it last week. It's a song that everyone can relate to. I don't think we get enough songs like this in country music these days. This is a song that has some substance, and it makes you feel something. I'll be honest, I wish more songs did that.

Again, Kenny Chesney's new album is called "Born" and you'll be able to hear all of it coming up this Friday. In the meantime, if you want to keep up with what's new with Kenny, just click here.

This is called "Wherever You Are Tonight" and I hope y'all love it as much as I do.

Also, Kenny's birthday is coming up, and these are my favorite Kenny songs!

Dub’s Top 5 Favorite Kenny Chesney Songs

Kenny Chesney's birthday is this weekend, so what better time to hit you with my Top 5 favorite Kenny Chesney songs. This was not easy, Kenny Chesney has so many great songs. Narrowing it down to a Top 5 was pretty tough. Also when you're a big Kenny fan like I am, its hard to pick a Top 5, but here we go.

I've been fortunate enough to see Kenny live in concert several times, and its always a blast! If you get the chance to go see Kenny, don't pass it up. The atmosphere at a Kenny Chesney show is second to none. From tailgating in the parking lot to singing along to every song, you can't beat a Kenny show.

Honestly, a lot of my favorite Kenny songs are either his older stuff, or the island music he's done. The island stuff is just so chill and it makes me want to be on a beach somewhere with a cold beverage in my hand. And of course you can't beat old school Kenny.
