What are the top country songs you need to play at your next tailgate party? I think I’ve found them. Country music and tailgating just go hand in hand. Whether it’s college football or the NFL, odds are you’re going to hear country music playing in the parking lots. Heck, people even tailgate before most country shows!

If you’re going to have a good tailgate party, you have to have a solid country playlist. The folks over at Taste Of Country have ranked the songs that really should be on your list. And I’ve got to say, I really agree with their list. Before we get into the top ones, let’s look at some of the other songs on the list.

These are all solid choices. I feel like a lot of y’all are going to start building some playlists after you’re done reading this. These also work for bonfires and stuff like that.

• "Parking Lot Party" by Lee Brice

  This song is literally about tailgating! How could it not be on a tailgating playlist.

• "All My Rowdy Friends" by Hank Williams Jr.

  This song was the inspiration for the Monday Night Football theme for years. It deserves a place on your tailgate party playlist.

• "South On Ya" by Luke Combs

  This song has been used a lot for SEC football on CBS. So why not throw it on your tailgate playlist for Saturdays before college football.

• "Y'all Life" by Walker Hayes

  This song talks about football, life in the South and sweet tea. Why would you not put that on your tailgating party playlist.

• "Here For The Party" by Gretchen Wilson

  Gotta have some ladies on the playlist too, and in my opinion this is a great one to add.
