A Fun Day At The Columbia County Spring Fair

We can’t leave the Columbia County Fair without taking a family picture.

As always, we had a great time at the Columbia County Spring Fair. This is an event that my family and I never miss. We love all of the events, and of course we love all of the food. My wife and I always made the fair a yearly tradition, and now its so cool to be able to share that tradition with our daughter. We've taken her to the fair several times now. While she may be a little young for all of the rides, she's definitely a fan of the food!

We Never Miss The Columbia County Fair

Whether its the Columbia County Spring Fair or the Fall Fair, we're always there. My family looks forward to it. Usually we try and go on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure why, that's just the way it works out most times. Our visits do look a lot different now that we have a daughter. My wife and I used to be all about the rides, now we're realizing that we're getting older, and we can't really do many of the rides anymore. However, when our daughter gets old enough to want to do the rides, we're going to have to take one for the team.

My wife and I are still all about the fair food. There are certain things we have to get every time we go. We always get the salt and vinegar fries and a corn dog. Also, we have to get a fresh lemonade and some fried Oreos. Our daughter is sharing our love for fair food the older she gets. She is a big fan of the salt and vinegar fries, and she absolutely loves fried Oreos. She's definitely our daughter for sure!

How much did our daughter love fried Oreos you ask? Well she was double fisting them and didn't want to let them go. She wanted to savor every bite!

Another thing we enjoyed at the Columbia County Spring Fair is the petting zoo. It's really cool now because our daughter loves playing with her animal puppets in her play room. Well now she can see a lot of those animals up close and personal. She's still a little young to feed and pet them, but she liked watching mommy and daddy interact with the animals. Between the petting zoo, the rides, the games and the food the Columbia County Spring Fair had something for everyone.

Now it's time to start counting down to the fall fair! For more info on that, just click here

One of the main reasons we go to the fair is for the food!

Fried Oreos Are A Must!

We can't leave the fair without an order of fried Oreos!

The Salt And Vinegar Fries

The line is always long for the salt and vinegar fries, but its worth it. We have to get an order of these when we go to the fair.

Funnel Cakes Are A Must At The Fair

Can you beat a fresh hot funnel cake at the fair? Yeah I didn't think so. They're soooo good!

Hangin' At The Petting Zoo

Our daughter Maddie loves checking out the animals at the petting zoo.
