Our family just got back from a Hilton Head beach trip. I’ll tell you, it was just what we needed. Some fun in the sun, sand and water. This isn’t our first time there. My wife and I went with some friends a couple of years ago, and we really enjoyed it. However, this time we were looking forward to sharing the fun with our daughter Maddie.
Hilton Head Has A Lot To Offer
A trip to Hilton Head is fun for a lot of different reasons. Of course there is all of the fun you can have on the beach. However, there are also lots of cool shops and restaurants, and if you love to play golf there are a bunch of great golf courses there. I really want to play golf in Hilton Head at some point in the future. Maybe I can do that on our next trip there.
We stayed in an AirBNB at The Breakers right on Coligny Beach in Hilton Head. It was just what we needed traveling with a toddler. My wife and I really liked that we could just walk down to the beach with Maddie and not have to load up the car and drive the the beach.
Our family tried a bunch of new restaurants on this Hilton Head beach trip. We had dinners at Skillets, Forest Fire BBQ and Skull Creek Dockside. The food was all really good! Of course, we had to end every night with a trip to our favorite ice cream place at Hilton Head, The Frozen Moo. My wife and I loved the ice cream there on our last trip, and I can tell you this, Maddie was a big fan as well!
