We’ve got some Florida vacation pictures to share! Kelsey and I just got back from a trip to The Sunshine State, and we had a jam packed long weekend. Kelsey’s side of our family lives right outside Orlando Florida. We try to get down there and visit as often as we can. Usually Memorial Day weekend is one of the times we make the drive.
Anytime we go down to Florida we usually have a lot to do. We try to see Kelsey’s brother and sister and our nephews and her parents. Of course that means lots of activities, and of course in Orlando and in the surrounding area, theres a lot to do. On this trip we decided to take Maddie and her cousins to the zoo and the beach.
We went to the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. Kelsey and I have never been there before, and it was really cool! I think Maddie enjoyed it, ya know its hard to tell when they’re only eight months old. There were a lot of cool exhibits and they had a great variety of animals to check out. If you ever get the chance to go, definitely do it. Here’s their website .
After the zoo, we decided to do a couple of beach days. The two beaches we usually hit up when we’re down there are Cocoa Beach and New Smyrna Beach. They’re both about equal distances from where Kelsey’s family lives, just in different directions. It was awesome! Maddie and all of her cousins got to play in the water and in the sand, and it seems like they had a blast. Again, at 8 months its hard to tell.
