The Back Porch Bar And Grill in Belvedere, it’s where the locals go! If you’ve not been to The Back Porch yet, you are missing out on what is called “The Cheers” of Belvedere. If you remember the theme song to Cheers, The line, was “Sometimes you want to go, Where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came”. That’s what you get at The Back Porch Bar And Grill.
A Little History About The Back Porch Bar And Grill
Locally owned and operated by Morgan Gibson , her husband, Brandon, and her mother and stepdad, Robbie & Bridget Anderson, who you will see when every time you visit. Brandon you will also hear a lot, He plays live music truly making it a family affair. The original owners, Pat and Denis Jinks opened it around 2015. They ran it for a bit and were ready to move closer to their kids and grandkids. Morgan, who went to school to be dental assistant , was working there at the same time. She fell in love with the place and the people who were coming in daily.
When the Jinks family decided to hang it up, they were going to sell to some folks who had a different plan for the place. Morgan was working as a dental assistant at the time, but her family couldn’t sit back and watch that happen. They all came together to buy it and now operate it.
I spent some time here over the weekend, this is place is The Cheers of Belvedere.
Everyone Is Truly Welcomed
Yes, you can enjoy a cold beer or a mixed drink after work or on the weekend at The Back Porch Bar And Grill, but it’s also a place the whole family can enjoy because they offer a variety of food that is just unreal. Burgers, wings, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and nachos are a big part of the menu. But they also offer daily specials that range from pork chops, lasagna, country fried steak and so much more. They even offer brunch on special occasions. Happy hour is from 4p till 6p daily with $3 dollar domestic beer and $5 dollar well drinks If you are looking for a place where you could eat daily, then here it is.

Looking for a place to watch the game? They have ya covered with TVs everywhere. Live music, they have that covered too. How about karaoke? Yep, they have karaoke. They even play Bingo. If you are looking for me, you will find me at The Back Porch Bar And Grill on April 17th for the next round of Bingo.
This was not my first time to visit The Back Porch Bar and Grill but I will say it was my longest visit. The first thing that happened is once I took my seat I saw Bridget get up from the bar and come hug me and welcome me back. Now this wasn’t something that was done just for me. I watched as customer after customer was called by name and hugged like they were family. There’s a reason that happened, it’s because that’s how everyone is treated. Just an environment unlike any I’ve seen in a long time.
