The Kicks Wake Up Krew

Time for week two of my college and NFL football picks. This week we’re adding three NFL picks. That’s typically what we do every week. I’ll pick three college football games and three NFL games. However, last week there was only college football, so that’s why we did all six picks college.

I went three and three last week. Not bad, but not my best performance. Georgia, Ohio State, and Penn State all did me right. However, South Carolina, Clemson, and LSU didn’t understand the assignment. I knew that picking South Carolina in an upset and picking LSU in a tight one over Florida State was risky. But you know what they say, you gotta risk it to get the biscuit.

Well, in that case, no biscuit for Dub, at least not for week one. Then there was Clemson, who I thought was a sure lock against Duke. What did they do? Lose by three touchdowns! So again, its time for a bounce back this week. Gotta do better than .500. let’s see if the NFL treats me a little better than college football did last week.

As far as the NFL goes this week, I’m picking one game from each time slot. I’ve got a 1 pm, 4 pm and 8 pm game. Also as far as college goes this week, I’m picking all different teams. If you want a full list of all of the college and NFL games for this week, just click here

These are my college and NFL football picks for week two.

  • 23 Texas A&M @ Miami

This game is Saturday at 3:30 on ABC. Texas A&M is favored by 4 points, but give me Miami in the upset! I know I’ll probably regret this by Saturday night, but I like Miami at home by a field goal.

    Dub’s Official Pick- Miami

  • Nebraska @ 22 Colorado

This game is Saturday at Noon on FOX. Colorado is favored by 3. Deion Sanders led his squad to an upset victory over TCU on the road last week, and this week I think they do it at home! I think Coach Prime has these boys ready to play! Give me Colorado by 10!

    Dub’s Official Pick- Colorado

  • 11 Texas @ 3 Alabama

This game is Saturday night at 7pm on ESPN and its by far the biggest college game of the weekend. I think it’ll be a close game. Bama is a 7 point favorite, but I think they win by two touchdowns or more. Bama will not lose this early in the season and at home. They’re out to make it back to the College Football Playoffs this year.

    Dub’s Official Pick- Alabama

  • The Carolina Panthers @ The Atlanta Falcons

This game is Sunday at 1pm on FOX. The Falcons are favored by 3.5 point. I can’t bet against my boys opening week. They’ve already got a great running game, and they made it stronger by drafting Bijan Robinson out of Texas in the draft. The Falcons spent a lot of money in the off season and I think they have the potential to make a run this year. Gimme the Dirty Birds by a touchdown!

Dub’s Official Pick- The Atlanta Falcons

  • The Philadelphia Eagles @ The New England Patriots

This game is Sunday afternoon at 4:25 on CBS. The Eagles are favored by 4. I just don’t know if the New England Patriots are back to being the Pats of old. I know they added Ezekiel Elliot to the roster, but will he make much of a difference. Philly lost a close Super Bowl to the Chiefs earlier this year, and I think they’re looking to make another run. Gimme the Birds by a field goal.

Dub’s Official Pick- The Philadelphia Eagles

  • The Dallas Cowboys @ The New York Giants

This is the Sunday night game, you can catch it at 8:20 on NBC. Dallas is favored by 3.5 points and honestly I don’t know a whole lot about either team at this point right now, but I know that this is a heated division rivalry. I think I’m gonna  go with The Cowboys by 6.

Dub’s Official Pick- The Dallas Cowboys
