There is a lot of money in country music, especially with the wealthiest country stars. I mean a lot.
How much? The Top Ten Wealthiest Country Stars are living the good life and having fun doing it.
Don’t get me wrong, they work hard. We only see them on stage, or TV and think they have it made. Behind the scenes, they work their tail off. Radio interviews, rehearsing, recording, singing, writing, dealing with the record label and management, and being responsible for many people on their payroll.
As a matter of fact, John Rich set the example during the pandemic.
“With no money coming in, obviously all the money moving around is going in one direction, and that’s out,” he told The Tennessean. “And you don’t know how long that’s going to be for. It could be for a few months, potentially. But I would urge, and I would even go so far as to challenge other business owners on Broadway in my entertainment bar/nightclub sector, to reach into your pocket and take care of your people…”
According to The Tennessean, John took care of his workers and Kenny Chesney also took care of his by paying them as long as they couldn’t get out and tour.
The country music community is close and is always stepping up to help. The Nashville floods, hurricane relief, St Jude, you name it it, they always help.
To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). All of the artists I know live by that, especially Dolly.
