Let’s dive into my week 6 football picks and see who I’m picking to win this weekend. Last weekend I went 4-2 with my picks. That brings my total for the season to 21 correct picks and 9 incorrect picks. I don’t think that’s too bad at all! Last weekend my college picks were perfect. My NFL picks on the other hand, yeahhhhh, let’s not talk about those right now.

There are some big games this weekend. The Red River Showdown between Texas and Oklahoma is happening. Both Texas and Oklahoma are ranked and the spread is less than a touchdown. Speaking of ranked teams, both Kentucky and Georgia are ranked, and they’re going head-to-head in a night game in Athens.

Big Rivalries

Also in the NFL there are some big time rivalry games like the Titans vs the Colts and the Ravens vs the Steelers. Those are both 1pm games on Sunday. However, the biggest NFL game of the weekend is probably Dallas vs San Francisco. Both of those teams are doing really well this season, and I’m looking forward to that game Sunday night.

I’ll go ahead and give you my pick for the Oklahoma @ Texas game. That game is set for Saturday at Noon and you can see it on ABC. Texas is favored by 5. Both Oklahoma and Texas are ranked, and this game is usually a barnburner! I think it’ll be close, it might even go into overtime. I think Texas pulls out the win though. Gimme The Longhorns by a field goal.

Dub’s Official Pick- Texas

  • 11 Alabama @ Texas A&M

This game is set for Saturday at 3:30 on CBS. Alabama is favored by only 1 point. Alabama definitely isn’t the dominant team they’ve been in the past. They’ve struggled a lot this season, but I don’t see them losing on the road again this season. I’ll take Bama by 2.

    Dub’s Official Pick- Alabama

  • 20 Kentucky @ 1 Georgia

This is a Saturday night game set for 7pm on ESPN. Georgia is favored by 14.5 points. Kentucky always plays Georgia close, whether its in Athens or on the road. Last week the spread was 14.5 as well and I told everyone Georgia wouldn’t cover, and they didn’t. I don’t think they’ll cover this week either. I am picking them to win though. Gimme The Dawgs by 10.

    Dub’s Official Pick- Georgia

  • The Indianapolis Colts @ The Tennessee Titans

This game is Sunday at 1pm on CBS. The Titans are favored by 2.5 points. Both of these teams are pretty evenly matched. They’re both 2-2. I think it’ll be a pretty close game, but I’m taking The Titans at home by a touchdown.

Dub’s Official Pick- The Tennessee Titans

  • The Baltimore Ravens @ The Pittsburgh Steelers

This game is Sunday at 1pm on CBS and Baltimore is favored by 4. The Ravens did me right last week, so I want to roll with them. However, this is a big time rivalry and Pittsburgh is at home. I don’t think that matters though. Gimme the Ravens again in a close one. I think it’ll be 3 or less.

Dub’s Official Pick- The Baltimore Ravens

  • The Dallas Cowboys @ The San Francisco 49ers

This game is Sunday night at 8:20 on NBC and San Francisco is favored by 4. I think this will be the NFL game of the week, or it has the potential to be. San Francisco looks so dominant this season. They’re undefeated. I think Dallas will give them a close one, but I like San Fran at home. Gimme the 49ers by a touchdown.
