I’m calling it now, these are the five biggest Georgia games of this upcoming season. We’re getting closer and closer to the kick-off of the 2024 college football season. Labor Day weekend will be our next big holiday weekend, and it’s when our Saturdays will be filled with tailgates and wearing our favorite team gear every weekend!

Saturdays Are Made For Georgia Games

Or whichever team you might cheer for. I’m a die-hard Dawgs fan, and I know a lot of y’all are too. However, I know there are a lot of Clemson and South Carolina fans out there as well. And while I have love for y’all, today we’re talking about the biggest Georgia games that are coming up this season.

This is going to be an interesting year in the SEC. Texas and Oklahoma are in the conference now, which will make for some awesome games that we really never saw before. Another new thing in the world of college football this year is the 12-team playoff. We will get games starting on December 20th running up until the College Football National Championship which will take place on January 20th next year.

There is a ton of excitement around college football this year, especially around Georgia football. Will they be able to go back to the National Championship? Who will be the break-out stars? I can’t wait to see what the answers to these questions will be in the coming months. In the meantime though, let’s take a look at the biggest Georgia games of this season.

The 5 Biggest Georgia Games This Season

  • Georgia Vs. Alabama

Usually, we have to wait until the SEC Championship, or the College Football Playoffs to get this matchup. However, this season, we’re getting Georgia vs. Bama in the regular season! It’ll be interesting to see how Alabama does this season, as it’ll be their first without Nick Saban. This game will take place September 28th at 7:30 pm and it will be in Tuscaloosa.

  • Georgia Vs. Texas

As I said earlier, Texas and Oklahoma are now officially in the SEC. This gives us some matchups that we haven’t really seen much before. This is an example of that. These are two of the best teams in the country! I can’t wait to see Georgia and Texas play each other. This game is set for Saturday, October 19th and it will be in Austin.

  • Georgia Vs. Clemson

Georgia will kick off their 2024 season with a game against Clemson. This is big because these teams don’t meet often, and usually, when they do, it’s a great game! This game will take place in Atlanta at Mercedes Benz Stadium, and it’ll be a Noon kickoff. That honestly bugs me a little bit. You’ve got two huge teams, who don’t play each other that often, and it’s not a prime-time game? I just don’t understand that one.

  • Georgia Vs. Florida

This one made the list, because it’s always a big game. It’s always around the same time every year. It has been a while since Florida has been a real test for Georgia, but that’s not to say they can’t be. Florida always plays Georgia tough, and on any given Saturday you can take an L if you’re not careful. This is a game we all look forward to, and this year it’s set for Saturday November 2nd at 3:30 pm in Jacksonville.

  • Georgia Vs. Tennessee

This is another game that we always look forward to. Tennessee has been on the come up over the last several years, and the Georgia/Tennessee game has been a little more exciting the past few years. Tennessee is like Florida, you can’t take them lightly, or you could end up with a loss. This game will be Saturday November 16th and will take place in Athens.
