You'll love this great area in Augusta.

It’s Labor Day weekend! This is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. It also means that most of us have an extra day added to our weekend. Need some ideas for how to spend this long weekend? We’ve got you with a list of things in Augusta that may interest you.

What’s the Best Way to Spend a Long Weekend?

Quality Time: Are you someone who has been away from your friends or family because of work school or other engagements? Maybe this is your time to finally spend some quality time with them.

Traveler: Some people love the tourist lifestyle, whether that’s a city over or a state or country over. Take a long ride and get to see all you can see.

Relax: Some of you have been on the go for the past few days and just want some time in the house to relax. Maybe that involves finishing up a good book or even a show you’ve been binging.

Planner: Are you an organized planner? You’ve got your schedule ready for each day of the weekend so you are sure to not let a bit of it go to waste. For some that might look like a day of shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. Or even taking a trip to the movies then exploring the city and noticing things you may haven’t before.

Community Service: Volunteering and getting involved with community service is another way one might plan to spend their weekend.

There’s so much one can do during a long weekend.

If you are still trying to figure out your plans, we’ve got a list of activities and events that could be just right for you.
