Blake Shelton took to his socials today to share an interview he did when he filmed his part in the upcoming Elvis Presley Tribute, which airs on NBC on February 17th.

Blake said, "I think when I came out of the womb, you're born knowing who Elvis is. The name Elvis is just a part of the fabric of humanity. You know he is, he just is this thing that exists in the air and contributed obviously so much to music, but I think he is the definition of what's cool."

Blake will be hosting the "All-Star" Tribute to Elvis' 1968 Comeback Special" on February 17th on NBC to commemorate the special's 50th Anniversary.

The original “Singer Presents…. Elvis” special aired on December 3, 1968. Later known as the “’68 Comeback Special,” the appearance marked Presley’s first live television performance since 1961 and featured the King, dressed in a black leather jumpsuit.
