Carrie Underwood To Kenny Rogers: ‘Sing With The Angels’
Carrie Underwood took to her socials to pay tribute to Kenny Rogers over the weekend like so many in country music have after Rogers passed away at age 81 Friday night (3/20).
Carrie posted a few pictures of her and Rogers over the years including one where he presented her with a 2013 CMT Music Award.
Underwood wrote, “Country music has lost one of its pillars…sing with the angels and talk to God, Kenny. Bless you for being a part of so many lives…”
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think.
