Costco Is Now Selling Private Jet Memberships
For your next visit to Costco, you can grab toilet paper, massive bottles of wine, — and even a private plane. Per their website, the wholesale company has teamed up with Wheels Up and is now selling private jet memberships.
And lucky for you, it’s only $17,499.99.
For that fee, a lot is included. Members get a 12-month membership and a $3,500 Costco Shop Card, a $4,000 flight credit, private aircraft, nationwide aircraft available year-round, access to signature events, have dedicated account management, and a complimentary 1-year Inspirato Membership for luxury vacations.
What’s not included, though, is the actual flight. That’s a separate “pay as you fly” or “fund program” purchase.
Luckily, if that price is too steep, they also have a lower-end version of the membership for $1994.99. It’s the same concept, with fewer perks.
So far, Wheels Up has over 300 planes and access to over 1,250 partner planes. The company also promises members that they utilize Safe Passage, an enhanced safety and health program they use because of COVID-19.
