Dolly Parton Shocks Fans At Dollywood With Fellow Icon

Dolly Parton shocked fans at Dollywood when she and fellow music icon Willie Nelson rode in a golf cart together through the park in east Tennessee early this week.

Dolly visits Dollywood a couple of times a year, and when she does, it’s well known that she will be riding in a carriage through the park to wave to fans and say hi. The park staff is always well prepared for a Dolly visit as they hand out free poms, poms, and butterfly fans that read “I (heart) Dolly.” They even have special Dollywood parade tape to rope off the crowd.

That being said, when Dolly rode through the park in a golf cart, guests were thrilled and caught off guard to see the Queen and her friend Willie Nelson. They were filming something that will air on NBC this Christmas.

One fan posted several images she caught on Facebook and noted, “Wow, my dreams have finally come true made it to Dollywood & look who I saw… this has made my trip.”

Another park guest posted a video on TikTok of Parton and Nelson leaving the Dollywood theater where Dolly’s dressing room is located.
