Air Show Tour Bringing Navy Blue Angels Back to Augusta in Late April
The famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels will fly above Augusta Regional Airport on April 26 and 27, 2025. This spectacular performance kicks off next year’s Air Show Tour, and the Blue Angels return since their November 2024 visit.
The anticipated air show lineup will feature performances by the U.S. Thunderbirds and various military and civilian aircraft demonstrations. This major event launches an exciting series of shows across America, including Fort Lauderdale Beach, Harrisburgh, Ocean City, Cocoa Beach, New York, Atlanta, and Orlando.
Bryan Lilley, CEO of the Air Dot Show Tour, told the Post and Courier that their “events appeal to a diverse audience far beyond just aviation enthusiasts, encompassing destination travelers, families, thrill seekers, and people of all ages.”
Expect a diverse experience when attending an air show. “Our events are a groundbreaking fusion of outdoor festival vibes and a high-flying aviation spectacular, offering a revolutionary blend of a center stage production with the exhilarating performances of an air show,” said Bryan Lilley to the Post and Courier.
The organizers picked springtime instead of the traditional Memorial Day weekend for the Augusta event. The aerial show runs from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, but gates open at 9 a.m.
Guests can check out parked aircraft displays on the ground. Several ticket options match different budgets and needs: regular General Admission, relaxed Lawn Boxes, better Preferred Seating, and exclusive Flight Line Club VIP access. Kids under five get in free with basic tickets. Each ticket order includes a parking pass.
