Shania Twain shared a preview of her upcoming Netflix documentary Not Just A Girl, which airs July 26th. She will Aldo’s simultaneously release her Not Just A Girl album on the same day. We’re looking forward to checking out both!
Walker Hayes says he got a ‘slap on the wrist’ from Applebee’s after referencing their competitor, Olive Garden, in his song “Y’all Life”. They did build a huge campaign around being name-checked in “Fancy Like”, but Walker reminded them that he’s not in the restaurant business. He said quote ‘”There’s a line in [‘Y’all Life’] that says, ‘taking our white limousines to the Olive Garden on prom night’ and Applebee’s was like, ‘Dude they’re our competitor’, and I was like, ‘Man, I’m not in the restaurant business, I just tell the truth.’ I mean…he’s definitely not lying. And I’m sure plenty of prom dates show up to Applebee’s too.
Tim McGraw tells Hello magazine that he yelled ‘Cut’ during his daughter’s kissing scene. “Audrey had a scene in one of my videos where she kissed this guy. I was watching the monitor, and they were doing that kissing scene, and instinctively as a dad, I yelled ‘Cut!’ really loud because I thought it went on a little bit too long. She had to come over and say, ‘Alright dad, you have to stop that.” Kind of awkward to have your dad who is not only Tim McGraw, but also your dad watching you make out with someone.
