Afterward, Faith became the first female country singer in 30 years to hold Billboard’s number one position for four consecutive weeks in 1994. Then, Faith came back with yet another number one, “Piece Of My Heart”. Her next song, “But I Will,” came next, but only peaked at number 35. After that, she had a number 2 song called, “Take Me As I Am”. This would be the title of her debut album which sold over 3 million copies

Family Life
As the pride of Star, Mississippi, Faith was adopted as an infant by Ted and Edna Perry. They named her Audrey Faith Perry and raised her alongside their two biological sons. At age 19, Faith quit school to move to Nashville. She was looking to make the big time, and she did. In 1996, Faith began the Spontaneous Combustion Tour with Tim McGraw.
Tim and Faith were quickly attracted to each other and began dating. After discovering that Faith was pregnant with their first child, they married on October 6, 1996. In total, they have three daughters together: Gracie Katherine (born 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (born 1998), and Audrey Caroline (born 2001).
