The beautiful state of South Carolina. I was born and raised in Seneca, South Carolina. My family still calls South Carolina home. Actually, I still live in South Carolina today. Aiken County to be exact. Did you know there are many movies made in South Carolina?

From the Mountains in Upstate South Carolina to the beautiful coastline of the Low Country, South Carolina is the perfect place to live. It also seems to becoming a great place to shoot TV shows and movies. Over the years From Seneca, to Darlington, to Charleston, to Clemson, and all over have been the perfect backgrounds.

When making the list, I just couldn’t fit them all in. The movie, “Safety” was filmed in Clemson, South Carolina. How about “The Big Chill“? It was filmed in Beaufort, South Carolina.

With so many great movies and so many great locations in South Carolina, no wonder Hollywood comes calling to “God’s Country.”
