Scotty McCreery Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend
Heads up ladies: Scotty McCreery, once voted Country Music’s Hottest Bachelor, is settling down.
The “See You Tonight” singer and American Idol alum recently proposed to longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal, according to his publicist. The moment happened on one of the couple’s favorite hiking trails near Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. When the view was perfect, Scotty got down on one knee, presented a ring and asked the pediatric nurse to be his wife.
“I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened,” Scotty says. “Gabi is the perfect girl and my true love, and I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.”

The couple met in kindergarten and Gabi has appeared in several of McCreery’s music videos in recent years, including “The Trouble with Girls,” “Feelin’ It,” and “Five More Minutes.” She frequently joins her beau at awards shows and other music industry events.
“My fans instantly embraced Gabi once they learned we were dating and have always been loving towards her,” Scotty continues. “When she graduated college last year, many of them brought me gifts for her at my shows and book signings. I will always appreciate their kindness to her.”
No word yet on a wedding date.
