Chris Lane Is Taking Country Radio By Storm
Chris Lane’s entrance into the country music scene could be considered unorthodox, but make no mistake about it, the North Carolina native is taking country radio by storm.
With hits like “Fix” and his debut LP called Girl Problems, Lane continues to prove he is a force to be reckoned with.
A former athlete, Lane used his guitar as an outlet during an injury that permanently sidelined him from football and baseball.
By all accounts, his love for music turned into a promising career as a country artist.
During a recent interview Lane said, “Once I got a taste of what it was like to be on stage and more and more people came out to the shows, I thought I should try to write my own music.” He continued, “I sat down and wrote twelve songs and after that, it instantly felt like music was what I truly was supposed to be doing. I discovered a passion I never thought I could have.”
Fast forward to the present, and Lane has had quite the eventful summer while on the road with Florida Georgia Line.
The country star recently shared video footage highlighting his favorite moments during the “Smooth Tour,” but the excitement doesn’t stop there.
Lane will be hitting the road again this fall during his first headlining tour.
The Take Back Home Tour will kick-off on October 25 in Maryland, and will include performances by Bailey Bryan, Dylan Schneider, or Morgan Wallen.
Lane also has a new single out called “Take Back Home Girl,” featuring pop artist Tori Kelly.
