The Top 7 Halloween Activities in the CSRA
It’s finally that time of the year when it cools off and you begin looking for those family-friendly events to enjoy. This year, there is a ton of fun fall and Halloween activities in the CSRA for you and the whole family. Here are a few events that you won’t want to miss!
(1) Georgia-Carolina State Fair / Oct. 18-27
Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds
Funnel cakes, loaded bacon cheese fries, corndogs and blooming onions are calling your name! Just make sure you give yourself a little time to digest before jumping on those fantastic rides. This year they will have entertainment at the pavilion, a boxing ring and much much more!
(2) Western Carolina State Fair / Oct. 18-27
Aiken Fairgrounds
The Western Carolina State Fair has a lot of entertainment this year. Each fair day will consist of a fun theme such as 12 Buck Tuesday and Old Fashion Dollar Day. Some of the acts this year will include: The Ninja Experience, Livestock Shows, Cornhole Competition, Bull Riding and a Demolition Derby.
(3) 27th annual Hispanic Festival / Oct. 18-20
Evans Towne Center Park
Come and explore the music, food, art and culture of Hispanic Heritage for their 27th annual festival! This year it will be held in the Evans Towne Center Park in Evans. This is fun for the whole family!
(4) Fall Farm Fest / Oct. 19

This event will host a variety of interactive fun fall activities for children as well as live music from Roads N’ Rails. This is a free event and is open to the public. Interested in gardening? Come get the best tricks and treats from farmers who know best.
(5) Walk With the Spirits Cemetery Tours / Oct. 26-27

This is a fun historical tour guided by a “spirit.” This is an exciting fall tour that will keep you shaking in your boots, but eager to learn about the rich history nestled within one of Augusta’s most creepy cemeteries and legendary stories.
(6) The Maize at Steeds’ Dairy / Today – Nov. 10

Grovetown
This is one of our personal favorite events. It has tons of activities and fun for kids including a giant corn maze and hayrides! It’s pretty a-maize-ing!
(7) Plantation Blood Haunted Attraction / Oct. 11 – Nov. 2

Do you love to scare your friends? Take them here. They’ll be terrified. This is a CSRA tradition for the past few years and every year it becomes another level of scary. Just remember, they can’t actually hurt you, can they?
