Maren Morris: ‘We’ll Get Back On The Road When It’s Safe’
Like everyone else, Maren Morris has had a weird 2020. While her life changed forever with the birth of her son Hayes in March, she was hoping to get out and play music for fans with baby in tow.
Maren told us, “We were so excited to get on the road this year and we had such an amazing production planned and set list and just everything was sussed out and then it kind of got the rug taken out from underneath it. It sucks that our industry, touring-wise, is probably going to be that last one to open because our entire thing is about crowds and so how do we do that safely?”
She added, “We’ll probably have to wait the longest out of any sector. So, I’m just trying to be patient and enjoy this time at home that I don’t get normally and write songs to pass the time and start working on my third record. We’ll get back on the road when it is safe and get to appreciate it more.”
