Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean On Luke Bryan Hosting The CMAs
Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean will be performing their recent chart-topper, “If I Didn’t Love You” on Wednesday night’s (11/10) CMA Awards airing live from Nashville, and it will be the first performance of the song.
Carrie and Jason did an interview together after their rehearsals on Monday (11/8) and shared their thoughts on Luke Bryan being this year’s CMA Awards show host.
Aldean said, “I look forward to watching Luke host,” turning to Carrie to say, “Not that you didn’t do a good job when you were here.” She responds laughing, “I know. He’s got some big shoes to fill that’s for sure.”
Jason then adds, “Luke is my dude so, I’m excited to watch him. I think he’s good at that kind of stuff.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
