This man did more for country music in the 80’s alone, if not ever, than anyone else! He came out and told us, I’m not my daddy and my kinda country has some rock n roll in it. He told us what New Country was in the 80’s and backed it up. So when you hear new country music today and say that ain’t country, just remember they said that about Hank Williams Jr also.
