The World’s Richest Pets
Wait until you see how much the world’s richest pets are actually worth. I saw this article and it said that Taylor Swift’s cat is worth $97 million. I was blown away! How can a cat be worth $97 million?! Well Taylor’s cat Meredith has appeared along side her in commercials for DirectTV, Diet Coke and AT&T. Meredith has also been in a couple of Taylor’s music videos.
How does Meredith make money though? Does she get a check? Does she go to the bank and cash them? I’m so confused. But the thing is, even at $97 million, Taylor’s cat ranks third on the list.
Above Meredith at number two on the list is Nala Cat. She’s apparently worth $100 million! Nala Cat became Instagram famous. He has 4.4 million followers and it says he owns a premium cat food brand called “Love, Nala”. How does a cat own a business? Does he have an office? Does he run board meetings? How the heck is a cat worth $100 million?!
But $100 million is nothing compared to Gunther The Sixth. Gunther The Sixth is a German Sheppard who is worth $500 million! You read that right, there is a dog worth $500 million! More money than most of us will ever see in 10 lifetimes! Gunther is owned by The Gunther Corporation, which is a multi-media company based in Italy.
Gunther The Sixth’s grandfather inherited $80 million and that money has grown from real estate investments. How is a dog making real estate investments? I have so many questions. I also need to have a serious talk with our dogs Bo and Lola and our cat Daisy and ask them what they’re doing with their lives?!
