Disney Plus And Hulu Prices Are Set To Increase Soon
Get ready to pay more for Disney Plus and Hulu soon. Their prices, along with ESPN Plus are set to increase next month. I’m sure we all saw this coming right? More and more people are cutting the cord and moving away from cable. So the more and more streaming there is, the more they can charge for it now right? Apparently so.
According to Deadline, starting October 12th, Disney Plus with no ads will be increasing to $13.99 a month. That’s up from its current price of $10.99 a month right now. However, if you don’t mind the ads, the version of Disney Plus that has ads will still only be $7.99 a month. So if you want to see all of the latest Star Wars and Marvel stuff, you’re going to have to pay more for it.
Disney Plus isn’t the only streaming service increasing its prices. Hulu will also be going up. Hulu with no ads will be going from $14.99 a month to $17.99 a month! Oh, and I almost forgot, ESPN Plus will be going up as well. ESPN Plus with ads will be going from $9.99 a month to $10.99 a month. Of course, all of these services are owned by Disney, so you would expect if one went up they would all be going up.
You can save a little money if you bundle the services though. Bundling Hulu and Disney Plus with ads will only cost you $9.99 a month. The package that I have is the one with those two services as well as ESPN Plus with ads and it’s $12.99 a month. If you want to bundle ESPN Plus, Hulu, and Disney Plus with no ads, it’ll cost you $19.99 a month. If you want to check out the full article from Deadline, just click here.
