It looks like we have a weekend that will be filled with rain. I bet you didn’t know there are a lot of country songs about rain! They actually rank up there with cheating, drinking, and dirt roads as far as topics most sung about in country music. Now sometimes the rain is not “Rain.” Instead, it’s used as sadness and loneliness.
Don’t we all kind of get a little down and in the dumps when it rains? The Blahs?
It does make for some great country songs. I did some digging and found a bunch but the list could go on forever and ever. See, again, rain is a big topic in country music.
