Morgan Wallen’s Ex Spoke Out On His Arrest
Morgan Wallen’s ex spoke out on his recent arrest. Morgan’s latest arrest was on Sunday (4/3) in Nashville after he threw a chair off the third story of his buddy Eric Church’s new bar, Chief’s, where he had allegedly been drinking.
Much has been said about his arrest, and the mother of his child, indigo, KT Smith, actually made a statement about the incident.
Ex’s Statement
She said in a statement to The Daily Beast, “Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement.” Smith got married to her boyfriend, Luke Scornavacco, on April 3.
She added, “I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip-up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior.”

Morgan dated Smith in 2016, and the couple got engaged at the time. It didn’t last long as they broke off their engagement, but they continued dating for a couple of more years. They welcomed their son in July 2020, after they’d broken up for good.
Wallen allegedly threw the chair from the roof of Chief’s Bar just before 11 p.m. local time, and two police officers who were standing in front of the bar watched it fall, according to a statement from Metro Nashville police.
Morgan’s Attorney Statement
Following the news of his arrest, the country star’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, issued a statement to many news outlets, including The Tennessean.
The statement said, “At 10:53 pm Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”
Wallen was released around 3:30 a.m. Monday (4/8) on $15,250 bond. He is due in court on May 3. That date coincides with one of three planned concert dates at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. The singer is scheduled to perform there May 2-4.
London in 2024
Morgan has a lot going on in 2024 with his stadium tour. He also performed in London for the first time on December 3, 2023, at The O2. Now, he is coming back to play one night only at the city’s historic Hyde Park on July 4, 2024.
Morgan said, “Last fall was my first time in the UK, and man, I loved it. I saw so much while I was there, and the people were incredible.”
He added, “To play where legendary artists like Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones have played is a huge honor for me and my band, and we can’t wait to be back.”
