Police Are On Scene Of A Shots Fired Call At A Georgia High School

Just moments ago, news surfaced that Dalton High School in Dalton Georgia was on lockdown amid reports of a shots fired call.
According to WSBTV, Officers with the Dalton Police Department have arrived on scene and are assessing the situation.
The school has been evacuated and no students appear to be in danger, however, it is believed at this time that a teacher remains inside the school and is barricaded in one of the classrooms.
At this time, Georgia State Patrol are enroute to the scene.
Parents are asked to stay at home for the time being and not come to the school.
