Suspect Found Dead After Possible Abduction Of College Students In Georgia
Late last night, Georgia Southern University issued a warning on their Twitter account regarding a possible abduction off campus.
The abduction attempt involved three female college students near the Statesboro campus.
At the time the alert went out, police announced they were looking for Bradley Justin Cochran after he tried to kidnap the three girls in a parking lot on Fair Rd.
At this time, it is not clear if the students knew Cochran or if they got into a vehicle with him. It’s also possible this was a botched kidnapping attempt and the girls fled the scene.
The girls were located and deemed safe a short time after the report went out.
According to WTOC, Cochran has since been found dead.
No other details regarding the abduction attempt or how the man died were immediately available.
