Boaters Missing At Clarks Hill Lake
According to WRDW, searching continues today for two boaters missing at Clarks Hill Lake.
The two men were enjoying a day at the lake with family and friends yesterday (Sunday, April 25). It’s believed one man went overboard, and another man, from a separate boat, went in after him. Neither of the men resurfaced.
Rough conditions were reported at the lake. This occurred yesterday afternoon, and crews searched until about 9 p.m. last night. Crews included the Columbia County Dive Team, Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
The search efforts resumed this morning. The incident occurred near Cherokee Boat Ramp in Lincoln County.
