Augusta Woman Drove Through Popeyes
An Augusta woman drove through Popeyes yesterday. No she didn’t go through the drive-thru, she drove through the actual restaurant! Why? She didn’t get biscuits with her food. I’m not going to lie, the Popeyes biscuits are delicious, but are they worth driving into the building for? I don’t think anything is worth that.
Our friends at WJBF reported the story yesterday about how Belinda Miller allegedly drove her SUV into the Popeyes on Walton Way. She was upset that she didn’t get biscuits with her order. I’m sure it was just a mistake, however Belinda freaked out! According to the warrants that were filed, Belinda allegedly drove her SUV through the left wall and doors of the building and continued to force her vehicle another four feet inside the building after the initial crash.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Miller was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center on Wednesday, four days after the alleged incident. Miller has been charged with Aggravated Assault and First Degree Criminal Damage to Property. All over some biscuits!
Don’t get me wrong, I love my biscuits too, but are they worth going to jail over? I don’t think so! Could you have maybe asked nicely for some biscuits? Maybe that would’ve worked better than driving into the building?
